การชั้นสูงทั่วประเทศให้ความสนใจกับการแข่งขันดนตรีอย่างมาก ตาของปริญญาก็เป็นผู้หนึ่งที่

สนับสนุนนักดนตรี “พิณ” “ซอ” และ “แคน” ให้ฝึกซ้อมและแสดงให้เขาชมอยู่เนืองๆ

ปริญญามีความจ�าที่ดีมากในเรื่องลีลาและท่วงท�านองดนตรี ต่อมาในกรุงเทพฯ เขาได้น�านักดนตรี

อีสานมาแสดงในงานทางวิชาการและวัฒนธรรมต่างๆ หลายครั้ง นักดนตรีจะมาพักที่บ้านของเขาและ

ฝึกซ้อมในตอนกลางคืน ภายใต้การแนะน�าของปริญญา ซึ่งสามารถจดจ�าท่วงท�านองของดนตรีได้ขึ้นใจ
ทั้งนี้เพราะเขาได้ฟังดนตรีเหล่านั้นมาตั้งแต่เป็นเด็ก

Mahasarakham

When Prinya was around ten years

old his father moved his family to
Mahasarakham Province where he had
been appointed a mathematics teacher

at the Mahasarakham Technical School.
Prinya attended school there for several
years. Those were lean years as the family
had grown. Prinya now had one sister and
two brothers – Phitoon, Charoern, and

Charoon. His father’s meager income
was insufficient to support his family so
everyone pitched in to help out. Much

of the responsibility fell to Prinya as the
eldest child.

His grandfather made the decision

to support Prinya by sending him to
Bangkok to study. He paid the tuition in
advance for the duration of his studies at
Assumption College. So it was that at a

tender age a young Northeastern boy left
his home forever to be thrust into the
unknown world of the thriving metropolis
of Bangkok. He lived at various times in

the homes of relatives and friends and found odd jobs to support himself throughout the years
he studied in Bangkok.
